Professional Photographer Policy

We welcome professional photographers to capture the beauty of our orchard! We define a professional photographer as:

Anyone who is conducting a photo session with clients (paid or unpaid), using professional camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, or similar), and/or intends to use the photos for commercial, promotional, or portfolio purposes.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Family, engagement, maternity, senior, or graduation photo sessions
  • Portrait sessions for clients
  • Branding, influencer, or blog content creation
  • Styled shoots

If you’re taking photos solely for personal use with a phone or small camera during your visit, you do not need to schedule a session.

To ensure a great experience for everyone, we kindly ask all photographers to follow the guidelines below:

1. $20 Minimum Purchase Required

All photography sessions must be accompanied by a minimum purchase of $20 from our orchard shop on the day of the shoot. This helps support the upkeep of our land and facilities.

2. Appointment Required

All photography sessions must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us to book an appointment at least 48 hours before your desired date.

Walk-in photography sessions are not permitted.

3. Sessions Must Occur During Open Hours

Photography is only allowed during our regular business hours. Please check our website or email ahead to confirm current hours of operation.

If After hours access is needed, we require additional fees and is limited to our availability. 

4. 1-Hour Session Limit

Due to limited parking and high visitor volume, all photography sessions are limited to 1 hour. Please plan your shoot accordingly and be respectful of this time limit.

5. Tag Us on Social Media

We love seeing your photos! Please tag us in all social media posts that feature photos taken at our orchard:

6. Additional Notes

  • Check in at the orchard store prior to your session.
  • Please respect our property, plants, and other guests during your session.
  • No large props, confetti, glitter, or smoke bombs are allowed.  Please take all props with you at the end of your session.
  • Drones are not permitted without prior written permission.
  • Do not climb on trees or ladders for your safety.
  • You need to purchase a you-pick bag/container prior to your session if you plan on picking apples/raspberries/flowers during your photography session.
  • This is a family friendly establishment and we ask that you keep your attire appropriate for the venue.  If we deem the outfit unacceptable, you may be asked to change or leave.
  • If you require a Property Shoot Release, we have additional requirements.  Please reach out to discuss.
